Double Down Musky Fly

Recommended Posts

Been a couple days, but I was out of town and didnt have much time to post. I was fortunate to be asked to do a blog post for Paul at http://www.frankenfly.com. I ended up doing a Musky fly which actually proved to be challenging because of the number of steps! In any case, check it out and make sure you give the Franken Fly site a bookmark!

Awesome, thanks! Of course you can sub the rear double hook for a regular one!

I will likely be tying one tonight in a different color pattern. Basically yellow with a white belly! Ill post it up.

Somebody has GOT to do an underwater video. I mentioned in another of your threads, Chefben, that I'd like to see these coming through the water. You replied that they aren't that hard to throw, the line was worse.

But what I meant is, I'd love to watch the fly moving through the water. It must be beautiful, flaring on the stops, zipping through when pulled.

One of you inventive types with a video camera, maybe one with a nice big tank with strong water flow, should go through a whole list of flies, and show what they look like swimming, floating or moving through the water.

YouTube has a couple, but I couldn't find many.

If anyone has the capabilities, I can send the fly! Otherwise you'll have to wait till my lakes arent frozen lol.

They are awesome Mikechell. I wish I did have the capabilities!
