Kirk Dietrich 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2013 His old pattern didn't have the silicone legs and I always thought it looked to stiff. I think the addition of the silicone legs will make it a better fly. Very nice tie. Kirk
Peterjay 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2013 Very good effort. I agree with Kirk about the original fly being too stiff. Sank like a brick with no movement. This one looks much better.
ditz2 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2013 You need to keep those refrigerated or they will spoil. Nice tie.

Saltybum 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2013 To give you a really true objective opinion you need to send me a couple to field test here in the Indian River lagoon. Then I can evaluate the casting, sinking, retrieve action along with the trout and redfish reaction to it as well. Which I expect to be positive. Photos will accompany my results report for verification. Right now is the perfect time as the flats are starting to get very active with fish and bait both showing up in good numbers. Post your results and thanks for sharing.
