Ostrich intruder

This is an intruder varient I tied up,

 

Materials:

 

#2 mustad salmon iron

65lb spiderwire

#2 gamagatsu octopus (I didn't have any)

black 6/0 uni thread

medium bead chain eyes

pink ice dub

black ostrich herl

pheasent tail

silver mylar tinsel

black marabou

pink marabou

grizzly hackle tips

green (pink is better) crystal flash

That would be a very good reason. Well im thinking about a spey swap after this one is finished if your interested.

Oh ya, I ran out of marabou the other day and as I was looking for another option I came across some dyed pink goose shoulder and it worked pretty well as a hackle, only problem I can think of would be that the barbs would probably stick together in the water. Would probably wrap better if you split the feather too. Just thought I'd share.

Looks like it would do well in some of the faster water in the Niagara too!
