Somewhere between realistic and impressionistic, hopper patterns will always hold a special place in my hart.. well done

"And in this picture," said the guide, "we have a picture within the picture."

"The picture in the background shows the grasshopper before it had a hook shoved up it's behind."

"In the foreground is the same grasshopper with the hook shoved in there."


"This person would like you to believe he 'tied' this, and it's not a real bug," exclaimed the critical and jealous tour guide, "But we all know he just stuck a hook in a real bug, don't we?"






Joking, of course. Great job ... beautiful hopper.
