Trouser Trout 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2013 I wish I would have found out about it earlier, I've already planned a trip north to go snowmobiling. Is it around the same time every year? I'll have to make plans to go to next year's show.

FlyTieDad 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2013 Hey all, I had a great time at the Fly Fishing Expo on Sunday. I was able to pick up a few things I needed and a few that I didn't know I needed. 3 saddles pink, purple and dun from Keough. Guess which ones are for the kids. 6 spools of thread, extra bobbin, large hair stacker and orange McFly Foam from StudioE One booth hit me up for a $1 grab box of stuff so I got dubbing in pink, red and yellow as well as some red wool that I was actually looking for. I also got a luminous hair that glows. Picked up a pack of body stretch in burnt orange. Another booth got me for a yellow deer tail so I can finally fishing a Mickey Finn in the right colors. The guys at Hog Creek set me up with 2 furled leaders. Then when I wasn't looking they made a pink one special on the spot for my girls for free. I went back and bought 3 more leaders from them. Treat my kids with that kind of kindness and you have my business for a long time. Lastly the guys from Hook and Hackle robbed me blind when Ron held me down and forced me to buy a pack of dubbing, a fly net and SolarEZ UV-Cure Fly Tying Resin with a light. If you've not met Ron he's a great guy and always treats you well with honesty. Hope those who could make it had fun too. If you missed it sorry, but they're is always next year.
