Peterjay 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2013 You're gonna get a thousand different answers, but if you're talking about fresh water, it doesn't matter all that much. A surgeon's loop in a short, heavy butt section will handle just about any situation that's apt to come up. I agree with Ditz about loop-to-loop connections. And to answer THAT question, I just have to lay a piece of leader material on the floor. All three of my felines can't resist playing with that almost invisible piece of string.
