Tied up a purple variation of my double down pattern. Rear hook 4/0 Double and Front 6/0 SL12S.

I like the look of that fly. Is purple a color you've had some success on in the past? Purple seems to be the one color I don't play around with very often.

 

 

Also, is that craft fur on the top and bottom near the head of the fly?

Purple is an under used color. It kicks a$$ on some days for Musky. Sometimes its the only color that seems to work. Bass love it too. I like Purple and Gray like this one or Purple and black.

 

Its arctic fox! Im obsessed with the stuff!

This will probably be one of my last Musky flies I tie for myself for a little bit. My box is more then filled! Unless of course I come up with another pattern.. The wheels are always turning!
