professori 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2013 Yes, I would consider them an option (they were exactly what I was thinking of when I wrote that up)
Sjo 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2013 I'm in! Yow! Ow, ordering the lace would cost me $20 on postage alone. I will go shoping local.

Travis Bille 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2013 At first I found this concept intimidating. But then I remembered that I started doing swaps to challenge myself to become a better tyer. So what the hell, I'm in, and I have no clue what I'm going to tie!
professori 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2013 As long as it contains all the elements, we'll be happy to see what you come up with.
Travis Bille 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2013 Contain them it will! And I actually think I have an idea. Just need to pick up some liquid lace, some dubbing, and give it a go. This should be fun! Thanks for hosting

netabrookie 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2013 I am finished with mine so pm me an address and the return postage information when ever you get a chance. This was fun and I'm glad you hosted this Professori. Now I am anxious to see everyone else's imagination at work. Thanks and Take Care, Tony
Travis Bille 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2013 I headed down to the fly shop in town today, and they didn't have any liquid lace, and the owner Mike said that he thought they went out of business. I was able to get some amber ultra tube, so I hope that is a reasonable substitution. And the antron I have is "steel grey".
netabrookie 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2013 steel grey is what I used also

professori 0 Report post Posted April 1, 2013 Okay, the swap is now officially underway. We all need to tie up 13 flies (each swapper will get back one of their own flies). Due date is May 15. PM me when you have mailed your flies so we can keep track of their progress. Thanks.
