lostman 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2013 havent tied in about 3 months while got back into it again tried a bunch of new styles and patterns first off i recently recieved some pike streamers from a local expert and decided to try my luck at some of them, just have to epoxy the heads and add eyes secondly i had not tied a wooly bugger or zonker to this point so these are my first attempts which i am very happy with! lastly i fooled around with some clouser type flies which are a bit more gaudy and flashy then normal also an expiriment with some large plastic bead chain eyes which i really like
mikechell 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2013 Second from the last picture ... that might be the first clouser I've seen that is actually tied as sparsely as it's supposed to be. Very nice work on all of those flies.
brhitch 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2013 Nice looking flies. I need to start learning to tie some larger streamers.
lostman 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2013 they are very easy to tie! just take some time with all the layers and cleaning up the material, and thank you for the replies! always nice to see what people think
