FlyFishin'Jam 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2013 Okay i dug out my boxes! Seems i give away a lot of my good ties but all these should fish, a couple of swap flies in that intruder box that are begging for a swim! There are piles more too but i will start with these...for fish with adipose fins.
utyer 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2013 Flytyer, Those last two patterns are a little too complicated (just like they should be.) Nicely tied.

FlyFishin'Jam 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2013 Forgot to wizz up a few carp flies to launch at cruisers, Kirk's Squirrelly with tungsten eye - need to get down a bit quicker, clear water that is moving. Pondering stick on eyes? Also have not trimmed the wing, might just do that on the water? Maybe need a thicker wing?

Love the clean look of these flies; great job, and definitely leave the wing sparse. Bob Clouser is known for saying that if he tried to sell his Clouser Minnows with the amount of bucktail he actually places on them, no one would buy them bc they would be so sparse...
