I recently saw a video on Youtube of Matt Grobert's sulphur emerger and I thought it was pretty cool.

I didn't have the materials to tie it though...My favorite emergers come from Rene Harrop, so I thought it would be cool to combine the two styles, sort of...

My Sulphur Emerger to try soon.

Just testing, have a new iPad !!!!!

So seeing what the camera does, it seems average, I boosted the sharpness and saturation like crazy...I am just wondering if this image is too big and wether it needs a resize, this is just a test. And what a good resize app is? Hmm quality seems average

That's a good pic from an iPad you say? Good looking fly too.
Yep just using an iPad, not even sure where or what the macro is or if it is auto, plus the size may be a bit big...I will keep messing around but this thing seems great to use.

Edit....here is a raw image straight from the camera. Perhaps I need it 800x600

Jam, your pics look pretty good on my monitor! Those are some nice looking flies too! I have an IPad too. I carry it when I'm out on the road, but have never tried using it with pictures. Heck, I have enough problems with using this PC. unsure.png

tidewater fly, i just went to the PC to check and the unedited image seems okay, perhaps I could get one of those macro attachments I have seen on google and actually use this. All very exciting, loads of apps and magazines around, quite a neat machine.

Pretty easy, take photo, attach here, done.

Forum reads and works nicely in safari.

Uh oh! Jam has an Ipad! I keep thinking of getting a tablet to use on my tying bench. Much easier then lugging my laptop around!!

Keep up the good work on the flies!

Better late than never, I stumbled onto the chomper fly which is popular on UK waters. I thought wow, that should fish in the salt well so here are 3 I tied for Seatrout and brown trout. First one is more like the original and second two are variants.

#12 and #8
