Ah. I wanted to put in an order, as I need some wet fly hooks... a 2 month wait time does not instill the greatest confidence. Still, both the hooks and the proprietor have great reputations, so I'll likely do it anyway.

Finally got mine yesterday - ordered in late March but, hey, they're free so...not complaining. I would mention that they were #16 dry fly hooks and not the #6 streamer hooks that I ordered, but, again, free is free. :)

yeah I think Will posted he was out on some styles so sent subs. The idea was really for folk to see the quality of the product and promote GCO.

Well, that 50% off special, the 5 dollar discount for new customers, and free shipping tempted me into it! 250 hooks for 15 dollars is a wonderful buy.

It took about 2 months to get my free hooks, but less than 2 weeks to get the hooks that I paid for. They are quality hooks for a very good price. I have not had a problem with a single hook thus far.

I received my free hooks today, I received the style and size I requested, took a little while to get them but when someone is giving you something for free I will never complain. THANK YOU WILL for the free hooks, can't wait to try them out!

I placed an order for streamer hooks & fly boxes. Took a little longer than I expected, but not 2 months. I tied flies commercially & sold materials & hooks for many years, and was a one man operation. I don't know Will's situation, but I know from experience, it's sometimes difficult to keep up with it all. I also worked a full time job through many of those years & of course, life has a habit of getting in the way too. I know Will's involved with Hatches Magazine, this site & Green Caddis so, his plate is pretty full! The hooks I got & the fly boxes were great & I would buy either again from him.

If you've ever purchased materials from Fly Tyers Dungeon, sometimes orders from there are a bit slow, but I've yet to have one not show. Both these companies are selling their excellent products at very good prices, so IMO having it take some extra time to arrive is not a big deal & worth waiting for. Of course, free products always makes it a little easier to be patient too.
