Hook: Long shank saltwater hook this one is 2/0

Tail; White bucktail with blue saddles

Body: Marabou

Gills: Red chenille

Head: Artic fox

Eyes: Fabric paint

Tye in the bucktail and then add saddles ala Half/Half. Palmer white then yellow marabou leaving enough room for some red chenille to create a gill effect. Next tye in the artic fox butt ends towards the bend and push the material over the chenille to creat a large head. Take some Fabric Fusion and coat the head holding the fibers back with a pipe cleaner. Add eyes. Lots of action in this fly, add some flash if you like.

I make the eyes out of fabric paint, on the plastic lid of a coffee can, they peel off with no problem. I like them because they are flexible so when I Goop them on to a fly they comform to the shape easily. I sometimes coat them with Liquid Fusion or my favorite Fabric Fusion (same stuff, bigger bottle, bought at most any craft store). Hope that helps answer your question bad fish rising
