Hey from the East Coast of Canada

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone from Nova Scotia, Canada, I am glad to find and join this forum. I look forward to learning some new things, and sharing knowledge and ideas with everyone, I have been tying for 2 years so far and still have lots to learn, my favourite patterns to tie are Atlantic Salmon Flies.

Here are some flies I tied this month:

Any feedback at all would be appreciated, I really want to learn some tips/tricks and have some ideas and advice to get better, with more experience I would like to start tying some Classics.

Cheers

Welcome to the group! I don't know much about Atlantic Salmon Flies, but the pictures above look great. I've been on the site for a week or so and there are some extremely talented tiers here I'm sure you'll find lots of great advice.

Nice ties and pretty good photography too. From the looks of those, it seems you might have a lot to contribute here as well. Welcome :)

Welcome, very nice sparse hairwings! Looking great for 2 years of tying. There are some very pretty and effective east coast atlantic flies around which also double for pacific salmon and steelhead. I would swing those here.

Welcome to THE forum. Transplanted Floridian here now living in Cape Breton. What part of NS are you in?

Murray

p.s. GREAT flies, if that's 2 years in I can only imagine the type of flies you will be doing in 10
