Piker20 0 Report post Posted June 26, 2013 Yep alder. Funny cause the general consensus is the fish eat the larva here in UK but big debate on the actual adult. I always used to put them on the river and I have never seen any eaten. Not by carp, trout, chub or dace. Funny as they are always falling in and can be pretty prolific in areas.
