I had a similar event though it was not fishing, took my bride on her first snowmachine ride all out and about town, as we came back ip the driveway I thought "I'd impress her with my skills". Rolled up to the house, hit the brakes and cranked the handlebars, thinking I would slide right up to the porch... NOooooooo, I slung her off the back and she rolled up to the porch. she has never gotten on a mchine with me again. Oh the best laid plans oft go awry!
