Hey all, Its been a while since ive added some photos to this section. Just wanted to share some of my photos from earlier this year on a WW2 fort built on a tiny island just off Vancouver Island here in British Columbia, Canada. I hope you all enjoy these photos, this was the best exploration location ive ever been to so far! Chris,

Piker20 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2013 Great photos. What amazes me is a lot of the stuff built in the war is still here almost ready to use quality today, yet it takes 12 weeks for them to do a 50yard section of road these days and it falls to bits in the same amount of time. netabrookie 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2013 Great pictures. I wish there was places like that near me. Maybe a broom and dust pan, a couple gallons of paint, a window or door here and there and I could call that home....The way the world is going it would be more comfortable with all the things that I mentioned AND a 50 cal. machine gun in one of the windows. Chris H 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2013 There is a group that goes to clean the place up from time to time, its location makes it tricky to get over there at will. Which is actually a good thing, thats why its still so untouched unlike most other historic places. a few of the buildings are still plenty dry enough to stay in as well
