November flies from the vise

Still can't get over the sea trout eat that pattern. Yours is more heavily dressed than I've seen on danish sites? Is that a common version?

This one is pretty heavy dressed. There's 2 versions of it, this type and a scud looking one.

All the shiny fibers is hard to resist I guess :-)

Ahhh mr chef! You have done it again, that thing looks quite wriggly and meaty!

 

Blue Knight Spey, a Canadian pattern from Gerald Bartsch and varied by me. For steelhead.

 

Body - blue tinsel (rear half), SD blue dubbing

Rib - fine gold oval

Body Hackle - bird fur SD blue

Collar Hackle - purple saddle with teal over

Wing - bronze mallard hopefully tented better than mine haha

Yes it's the more scud type I've seen. I'll swim some this spring and see how the Scottish fish like it.

A crayfish and sculpin from an order I am working on. Its tough to see from this angle, but both are on jig hooks, I leave the crayfish at 90 degrees and bend the sculpin to 60 degrees or so.

I like those flies, Crotalus. What's the back and tail of that crayfish ... carpet? It looks good but I don't think I've seen that material or that procedure before.

Technically its Furry Foam ;) my crayfish is the result of Galloup's and Clouser's crayfish mating and having a love child.
