That is brilliant. You should so a line of them for Christmas tree decs.

The pike would love them too. Reminds me of a gopher lure duckling

Wow! Only thing I've seen like that is Steve Potter tying a hummingbird "fly" at a fly fishing show in Pleasanton, CA a few years ago. Personally, I thing work like that is true art. Donate it to the Louvre and I'll have an excuse to go back.

Nice work!

I didn't realize that Pat had some DVDs out until I saw one of your other posts. I bought the duck one and a Jr Packer tool. Cool stuff.

I'm thinking a redwing black bird version will be deadly...

May I ask how the beak was made? Is that just thread built up with clear cure (or equal) on it?

From what Pat Cohen says, this is a very effective pattern, Ill have to wait , to give it a try

Awesome fly and I like that it will be admired by more than fisherman.

 

If you could buy one deer stacking video this Christmas, which one would you recommend?
