December Flies from the vice

Recommended Posts

With the opening of the Helmsdale approaching I thought I might try something a little different. I know the wing is a little high but I think it will fish ok. Burnt goose hackle dyed in turmeric.

Here's my latest, a version of Ian Rutter's Rubber Legged Tellico nymph. I tie these with or without a tungsten bead. This is on a TMC 5263 3XL hook and I really like Senyo Laser Dub for the body in yellow.

For some reason Kevin your pics always come up small on the smart phone but the fly looks good.

I told my wife if I don't get a camera for Christmas I will get it myself. My old one is done and my phone takes crapy pics.
