A double and some tubes. A range of plain copper, brass botttles and mini 9mm bottles with cone heads.

Here's a recent YouTube tutorial I made featuring DeFrank's Grim Reaper "Variant." This is a very effective pattern for steelhead in the Lake Lakes region, especially in streams running into Lake Erie. All of the variations are explained during the tutorial, and it's a great one to tie.

Here's my offering for the nymph swap

 

Hook: dai-riki #710 size 6

Thread: Danville 210 brown

Tail: light olive goose boot

body: copper brown antron yarn

ribbing: light olive flexi floss

Dubbing: antron golden stone

Carapace: tan razor foam

Legs: golden yellow crazy legs

That's exactly what they are sniperfreak.

Some crazy legs, Krystal flash, dumbbell eyes and you're good to go.

 

Based it off the carp tease, but has some better action. Good for Smallies too.

That's going to shake something chronic switch10. I've tied some shorter back to back bunny strips and they move really well.
