netabrookie 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2014 I think it looks good. I still haven't taken the plunge and bought any yet. My son left all of his fly tying stuff at my house while he is deployed and I know he has some uv resin in there so I might have to go dig around a little and finally try it out. Flyfish007 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2014 Fly fish can i get a bigger picture of the flies please???? or even message me the recipe? Recipe is pretty simple. The top one is just white/chartreuse bucktail. I used holographic tinsel to make the body. When you put the CCG on it gives the fly a nice sparkle. The eyes are just your standard stick-on eyes. The middle one is Unique Hair (pink, yellow, smoke) mixed with some purple angel hair and the last is just craft fur.
SCOwens 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2014 Can't go wrong by buying some UV cure of some variety. I use Solarez and love it.
