5th Annual Opening Day Swap

Opening day of trout season, in many parts of the West, is the last Saturday in April. This year it is April 26.

Tie 12 of any trout fly, any size, any style. Usual rules apply, stamped self addressed envelope or funds to cover return postage, toe tags, mail before due date.
Open to first 12 with, "I'm in". Due date April 4th That way I can get them back to you for your own opener. The last four years we have had a selection to fit just about any fly fishing situation.

I haven't done many swaps recently, but I am in the mood for one, and if FishingBob is putting it on, you know it will be handled right. So count me in, please, and I will tie a guide's choice hare's ear, a meaty morsel for early season fishing.

Sure thing. It'll be like a birthday present for me they get a week or so after due date. I'm into CDC right now so I think a cool one CDC feather emerger pattern that a lot of guys are saying is so ugly fish are hitting it just to kill it. Called IOBO (It oughta be outlawed).

I haven't joined in on any swaps for a few years, but I would like to be a part of your swap so consider me in. Fly pattern TBD, but it will probably be some type of CDC emerger or a traditional Catskill dry fly pattern.
