Tulop 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2014 Hello, Some zonkers from the other day! /Anton
vicrider 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2014 Very nice looking. That's an unusual head design. Do you feed line thru the nose cone so you use the zonker either with the nose weight or without? I recently sent an order for something I could only find at one place and while touring their site I ordered a few packages of Finnish Raccoon Zonker strips. They are not quite s soft as bunny fur but much longer hair. Should make a great zonker for pike or musky but we don't have any around here. I am going to try the white for a shad imitation and think with the hair length it can be trimmed in a body/tail shape nicely.
flysmallie 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2014 Those are nice. Can you use that head on a hook?
Tulop 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2014 the raccoon is usually pretty long and works well to tie with just like fox or any other hair, never used it as zonker. but it's great hair! It's futurefly cones, the are mainly for the futurefly tubes but the might work on hooks, but they will not be optimal i guess. http://www.futurefly.dk/ /Anton
