First Fly - Woolly Bugger

Recommended Posts

Definitely a good fly, the hackle on your last one is perfectly gauged IMO. I feel that the chinille gives you too bulky of a body, I prefer dubbing, but all and all excellent first attempts. The bugger was the first pattern I learned and it's still my go to on most stillwater..

Thanks for the picks and feed back Istripbuggers, I've never come across dubbing woolly buggers. Will try it soon and see how it compares.
