What about a popper? Would that be ok? I'm working on some for my swap. I can change the size a pattern.

I'll leave this swap open for a little while longer in hopes of a few more takers. Number will be determined then. You can at least make up to the amount listed on the first post till then.

STILL LOTS OF ROOM!!!

Hope that wasn't too loud.

Hey 'Shoes.

Have had a good think about this one. I'm going to tie something that I hope will be equally at home on the flats as it is in the mangroves.

Essentially it's a lightly weighted clouser minnow, but it will be tied in a fashion to imitate a shrimp... Best fished slowly amongst the prop roots of mangroves, or on shallow flats.

Now to find me some dubbing....

Sorry I haven't been on lately, storm season up here.

Ok the swap is closed and we have 9 flies to tie.

I am taking my flies down south with me and going to try out each of your flies. I know the spring is not the best time but I like beating the odds.

The question I have, don't laugh, but will a crocodile go after flies etc. Dry or wet. I know enough how to stay alive around them. Give them total respect!!!!! But seriously, does anyone have experience fishing in their neighborhood? I am doing research and have found a few sites I may be able to send off an inquiry or 2. But it would be great if anyone has cast a few lines in their yard.

Don't forget to give a clue what you are tying.

Cheers!
