Night Hawk - featherwing

Here is a North American fly pattern dating back to 1900, originally designed by architect Stanford White for use on the Restigouche in Canada.

 

I had to use a few subs and mine came out more low water than anticipated, actually a fairly difficult tie size #5, a few errors but it is for fishing smile.png

Cheers! Was going to do a dozen and hold them till salmon, so many steelhead flies already...i think i need kingfisher or some cheap blue tiny feather
