Guest Report post Posted January 28, 2005 Does anyone know of a good book on working with foam and patterns and also tying terrestrials? The way I have been tying lately, I think I'm going top water this season for bluegill, bass, bluegill and maybe walleye. Thanks everyone Jim
tdeyette 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2005 Jim, I just picked up Tying Flies with Foam Fur and Feathers last weekend. This book has been discussed in another thread here and it sounded interesting so I picked it up. It contains 48 patterns with stories about particular flies (how they worked on the stream), how to fish them, and how to tie them. Interesting read.... I have not tied up any of the flies yet, but his stories have inspired me to put some in my fly box! Tom
