uncletube 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2005 Nice tie Shaq !!!! Try moving your camera back just a bit. When I take my pix I use the macro setting and zoom in just a bit. Also try when you get ready to take the picture hold the shutter button down half way, this allows the cam to focus itself , then push it down to take the pic. Hope this helps. Graham 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2005 Hey Shaq, I have a feeling different cameras work best in different ways. Taking macro's with my Sony took a whlie to get it right. I set it to Maco, do not zoom in and actually make sure it's not zoomed at all and at the widest setting. Then I have learned that with non-SLR cameras the little eye-piece viewfinder is not looking through the lens like and SLR, but the LCD screen view is through the lens. So use the lcd not the eye-piece for taking close up shots. I hold the camera as close to fly fly as possible, keeping the fly centered for good auto focus, then press the button half way, when it look well focused I hold my breath and click the button. I need to get a tripod then I can stop holding my breath to keep the camera steadier. Graham
