Nice looking humpy again Cheech! I love a well tied humpy but they are a pain in the a** to tie.

Thanks :) not sure how well the foam will hold up. Its open cell as opposed to the normal hard stuff I use but is very tear resistant and doesnt seem to stretch too much either.

In Flytiers Masterclass Oliver has a Willow Fly imitation. Its a useful fly at the right time, but I've never been happy with the rafene wings. I don't often have the time or inclination to play about like this, today I did. The result is the Wally Wing Willow Fly. this is on a size 16.

I'm hoping the wings will out last the rafene ones. Never managed more than on fish on those, some haven't lasted that long.

The only name I can think of for this fly:

The permanent eye fly ... there's no losing the eye (s) on this one.

Some flashy #1 synthetic clousers and sparse #2 candies for a trip in June.
