Especially to tell the admin on here that they will be sent out and not do it. If I was a part of this swap I'd be going bizerk on that guy. I am not part of this swap, but somewhat saddened by the severe name calling and invective remarks that have prevailed. I hope this thread will just close down soon and everyone will move on. I said I am saddened about the invective responses. I own my own stuff and don't need anyone - like you - jumping down my throat, with your presumptions and assumptions, with your condemnation. Are the swapmeister's action beyond defense? Why, because you say so? Really? All I said was that he would be heard if and when he did communicate. I stand by that, it's just my view, to which I am entitled, as you are yours. Own your own stuff, man. Don't tell me my business. I don't like vengeful language and it is my strong opinion this is not the forum for such. This is a fly swap. If you want to take personal umbrage with me send me a PM. Kudu 0 Report post Posted July 17, 2014 DJ I have been sm many times and I have never thought about keeping the flies. I always appreciate the generosity of the participants. What this guy did was wrong and Goats called his hand. The moderator spoke with the sm and the sm said he would deliver the flies and he didn't. This is proof. The sm stole the flies; why I do not know. Anyway I agree with Goats. Maybe you are friends with the sm, I don't know. Until proven otherwise the sm in this case is a thief. atxdiscgolfer 0 Report post Posted July 17, 2014 I wasnt in this swap either but it looks like their was a good talented group of tiers in this swap and i would hate to see them all decide not to participate in future swaps so i will put in my .02. I second what Kudu said, i have been a SM myself many times and that thought never crossed my mind either. What this guy did was shady, i run swaps and always update all participants on time as well as the thread that its on and I have a 20 month old child so this guy has no excuse. eastern fly 0 Report post Posted July 18, 2014 Another thing to think about. I'm my swaps some people send cash for there return shipping. So if that did happen then there cash was stolen also. I talked to someone on Facebook that was in a swap with him from another site. They had trouble with him there to. So I see a pattern. I have never had a problem like this with any of my swaps. Goats 0 Report post Posted July 18, 2014 Flies are sorted and will be out in the mail to everyone tomorrow. Sorry for my absence as of late. Family has gotten extremely hectic lately. Ya'll ate going to live these flies there are some really nice ones here. FWIW, I just finished a swap (Inspire a Tier) and Steve P vanished. Frankly, I'm surprised given he's an "advanced" member. I sent 3 PM's and no response, so who knows... I have tried to contact Steve P through here and FB as well as directly but no reply from him. Odd that he would do this knowing how long he has been around and participated in numerous swaps, but due to the fact that he has not replied to me yet has posted on FB that shows me there are no extenuating circumstances other than the fact that he has decided to screw other members. I will give him till Friday as a last chance to make good on this to everyone then after that he will be completely banned from the website. I just got a hold of him on the phone. He said he will send them out tomorrow. Let me know if/when you guys start receiving them please. Steve No explanation was given. If no one starts getting the flies by mid week this coming week then believe me I will be posting his cell # for anyone that would like to express their disapproval to him personally. If I could, I would plunge into a George Carlin-style (RIP), profanity laced tirade full of "invective" character descriptors for Mr. Steve, but at this point it isn't gonna do much good, just like your continued defense of this guy. I contend by your responses that you have not read the thread or maybe your writing skills are more advanced then your reading comprehension skills so I have provided the highlights. As for your last post, putting someone's "Private Message" out on public post is about as low a form of forum practice as exists. It's called a Private Message for a reason. I have to agree with Shoebop. After your foreign language attack I was going to leave this thread alone and hope it would die. I have gotten over the fact I've lost a few flies. I can do that on a fishing trip with no problem, and give away more flies than I'll use or trade. Since this thread has started I've lost more respect for you than Steve P, and that takes some doing.
