here's my poison

Recommended Posts

Thought i'd introduce my self since i've made a couple of posts lately.

Been a member here for a few years, but since i tie mostly classic flies, i've been posting over on those boards for the most part.

I live in Philly, work as a biochemist, and fish about 3 times per year, which is pish poor by any mans standards

Tying keeps me in touch with fishing.

Here's a few of my flies.

Welcome Eunan. Folks this man is a master and we would all do well to learn from him. He is a very patient teacher too. I REALLY look forward to your future posts.

PS - Next time you're thinking about a vice, take a look at his Gray Ghost. :)

Seen a few of your posts on various forums and always top quality flies. We'll have to work on you wetting them more.

Hi Eunan. I'm familiar with your ties from PAFF. I'm in Bucks County, PA.

What did you use for the tail in the Sparkle Ghost Bugger?

The tail is arctic fox guard hairs (all the under fur stroked out before tying in)

Welcome to the forum! What's the recipe for your sparkle maggots?

Ice dub fore and aft. Pearl and peacock. Also tied it with pearl and red at the front. Hook is a Scud hook, 2457, with bead to fit the hook
