I'm just sitting down to tie my flies now, one way or another I'll get them in the mail monday. Will need an address. Thanks for hosting, sorry for pushing the timeframe. There us a reason I try not to swap anymore into the spring/summer...

Glad they made it. Fished one of my prototypes last week and caught several nice little trout before switching to a different fly.

I'm not surprised. Your Smoothies are immanently buggy. Did you fish them on the surface or at depth?

I will be watching for your flies. I invested $25 for some cheap postal scales maybe 10 years ago. They have saved me time-wasting trips to the post office and come in handy when mixing up epoxy. They are even running on the original 9V battery!

Both actually. Fished them like dries the first day, then as a dry and a wet the second day. Caught fish both ways. A couple not much bigger than the flies themselves. Some very ambitious little trout!

Received a fine set of flies from riffleriversteelhead yesterday.

 

A brief update. I have received swap flies from 9 swappers. Two sets are in the mail. And two swappers are not responding to my PMs. If I have not heard from professori and Sjo by next Monday July 14 I will package up what I have and get them on their way.

Dear fellowswappers,

 

I got a message from Bruce warning me that my flies are late. I was in hospital and totally lost track on this swap. I'm very sorry for that. I allready tied some tubes, five or six I think and i will complete the tying and send out the flis before the weekend. Then they will take 4 to 6 working days to get to Bruce. I will keep you informed bij posting the progress in this topic.
