Piker20 0 Report post Posted June 1, 2014 Never sure if you can have too much bling? The camera flash will make them look brighter than real life. Id definately try them with aggressive salt predators.
troutguy 0 Report post Posted June 1, 2014 Not sure if you are old enough to remember salted minnows. Those flies look great! Are they fresh water trout or weakfish? Are the heads weighted or just epoxied eyes? Nice job
mikechell 0 Report post Posted June 1, 2014 Ooooooooo .... Shiny !!! I see lots of fish hits in your future !!!
bad fish rising 0 Report post Posted June 2, 2014 they are this shiny I didn't use a flash when I took the pic. the eyes are just glued to the sides so no weight. the flash is coated with sally hansens hard as nail to the hook bend to reduce tangling & wrapping. as for old enough I use salted minnows for steelhead under the bobber in the winter. living in Michigan im a fresh water guy but I kinda stole this fly from the salties.
