utyer 0 Report post Posted August 13, 2014 There are many ways to tie the Moorish Mouse pattern. Some will leave untrimmed hair tips on the top of the fly and no foam, some will leave untrimmed hair on the sides under the foam, and some even use rabbit fur wrapped up the shank with the foam pulled over that. The hair strip on the tail will leave just a small tuft of fur on the very tip. The eyes on the Clouser are too far forward. Bob Clouser recommends that the eyes be placed one third of the total hook length behind the hook eye.
