SILKHDH 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2014 Not my usual style but here goes. A doz woolly B*****s Might not be your style but I've caught everything from BIG rainbows to channel cat's on bead head woolies. Black body with olive tail is my favorite. They may be simple, but they are affective. Good looking set of flies there. I see fish in your future.
eide 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2014 it has been some busy weeks with fishing up north and vacation, but time to fill up the box with the good stuff: here a midge on Mustad 94840 #22 - these are killer for grayling and trout!
fshrmanms 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2014 Be interested to hear how long your sharpie colour lasts in use. the sharpie colour faded a little after a few hours of fishing and eight or ten fish. I tried one where I colored one side of the biot and a second where I colored both sides. the one with both sides colored retained more of its color. I was using the purple soft hackle as a dropper off my popper and caught 21 blue gills on them from 6:30 this morning to 11:00. I will add the sharpie colored biots to my repertoire of techniques!
