First time out with my new 2wt rod that Steeldrifter made, and boy did I have a great time. I've never used a rod that light before and is it ever fun. Caught 10 cutthroats and a bull trout.

Nice looking rod and reel combo. I suspect that the two weight had a nice workout on some of those trout. Happiness is where you find it....

Great looking spot for fishing. Glad you got to try out the rod with some fish on the line.

I am not "up on" the equipment, what kind of reel is that?

Welcome to the brotherhood of "Steve built rod owners".

It's a reel is made by Wychwood, I ordered it from England, it's weighs only 50 grams. I wanted a nice light reel and this one was the lightest I could find. This 2wt is actually my 3rd rod from Steve (for myself) my wife has a 3wt from Steve as well. His work is second to none, only problem I have is which one to choose when I go out lol.
