Guest Report post Posted September 6, 2014 This is the link to the Garthside article on pheasant feathers http://www.jackgartside.com/art_pheasant_feathers.htm The other article by Terry Heleckson I can't get to, as his daughter is redoing the page and it's not back up yet. Some great stuff on that Gartside page, thanks for sharing it! There's another streamer I made from an old recipe I found online that uses the rump feathers layered down the side, a thick tail of black hair, red floss for the body, and significant weight. I forget where I found the recipe and what it is called, but the streamer caught several Browns the first time out so I keep using it. Guest Report post Posted September 6, 2014 Well looky here, one of our old timers (wait 'til he sees I called him an old timer!) added the Mrs. Simpson to the database back in '08 ~ http://www.flytyingforum.com/index.php?showtopic=31655 I need to make some more of these. I made all mine with the feathers with irridescence, and I still wonder what the fish think they are.
