I'm never so confident when they are leaping about. Seems they are never on the feed like that. Does give you confidence fish are about though.

Are sea trout also called weakfish?

You are in the USA. Here we have spotted seatrout, silver trout, sand trout, and weakfish. All are different. They're catching true brown trout that are in salt water. Another case of country to country confusion. Hope that helped.

That's why they don't let us use Wikipedia as a reference on school assignments. This is from the Peterson field guide to fishes.

Thanks fisherboy for clearing that up. I can see why a brown trout would be interested in that fly, but a weakfish probably not.
