Double Down Streamer Swap

Recommended Posts

Crackleback, my memory is not as good as it used to be and now that you mention it the flies I did for the other swap I did in an olive theme and must have been the Briana version since I remember using artic fox instead of craft hair. Your post brought that back. The thing that pisses me off with craft fur or craft hair or whatever they want to call it is that it has a huge amount of guard hair. Seems like artificial hair could be made without having to comb out about half the volume of the bunch you cut of short hairs. Give us a good craft hair with all hairs same length.

And I just realized as I was about to sent these out I don't have your address. Kept all of them I've come across in last few years but we must not have shared a swap yet.

Vicrider's came today. They look great. The Hogs are a good color combo for browns and smallies around here. I've never fished for crappie but I'll definitely be giving it a try with those little minnows.

I need to get some materials. My do got into my stuff again. My wife has orders to get rig of the B!@# before I kill her.

Kevin

Since I have cats, not dogs, I've had to keep my stuff cleaned up and put away since the beginning. You can't blame the dog, it's an animal with slightly higher intelligence than any other, but still just an animal. You have to take the responsibility here ... if you leave it out, the dog will get it ... don't leave it out.

Mikechell,

Give him a break. He was angry that his dog got into his stuff "again". I've had a dog that broke into or out of just about everything we used to keep him in or out. If he has a dog that won't obey him or tears things up and he wants to find it a new home, why not? Maybe he doesn't want to have a reason to get really angry with it (maybe loose his temper), in that case, it kinda seems like a good idea. He didn't say he did anything to the dog just that it needed to find a new home cause it's pissing him off. Don't play thought police... He didn't give us enough info to make any judgments....

I might owe you an apology too but I live in Oregon and the animal rights thing is getting out of hand here. It isn't uncommon for people here to assume the worst of people without giving them the benefit of the doubt. Then turn around and defend animals as if they can do no wrong.

End of Rant...

Oh, I am no animal rights activist. I don't agree with "trophy hunting" ... but meat is meat and I like a big thick cut.

But I am kind of a Pet's rights defender. Pets are what you make them. Dogs are either rogue, part of the pack, or they are the pack leader. If a dog "disobeys" ... it sees itself as a rogue or the leader and it can do what ever it wants. If you are the pack leader, then the dog WILL obey.

I can say that I will confront, and put down if needed, anyone I see actually abusing a pet. Done it, a few times.

Just to show you how much Wife and I care for our pet kitties, here's a video of the wall path, built just for them.

Sorry ... hijack of the thread over. No more comments on this, on this thread.
