Double Down Streamer Swap

Recommended Posts

Joseph Russell's came today. Good job on both. The Boogieman is a fly I've used quite a bit myself and a great trout catcher. Good job on the Telephone Boxes too. I like fishing small hairwings like that with my 4wt on our little smallmouth creeks.

Trez's flies came over the weekend. Very cool set and thanks for the extra's. Just five days to go so hopefully everyone gets their flies in the mail over the next couple of days.

I apologize for taking so long, but the flies are in the mail. Got to the post office just in time. I hope you all enjoy, the squishy is a pattern of my own design and has had some great successes. I can't wait to see all of the flies come and then to take them for a swim!

Got two more sets in and the last set is on it's way. First are eastern fly's articulated mouse and a flatwing for his unarticulated pattern. I've caught tons of fish on Kevin's flies over the years and should catch plenty more on these two. Then we have Dorado's awesome set. His small one is a black ghost variant and his big one is a black over white marabou streamer. The big guy is similar to a Galloup's Barely Legal but unweighted. Thank you to both of you for the extras.

The last set came in yesterday. Great looking set gunpowder. I'll get them sorted and heading back on Monday. I also think I'll get some pictures to post of the whole set. Thanks for joining everyone.

Mike I have been thinking of another swap. Top Water Predators. Poppers and the like for Big bass, Pike and Musky. Something that you need a 8,9,10 wt to cast. What do you think?

That would be cool. With your musky swap and two pike swaps going on already it would probably be more aimed at bass.

Just got back from the post office and the flies are heading to their new homes. I'd like to thank everyone for how smooth this swap went. It's all too rare that everyone gets them in on time and has return envelopes/postage but everything went great on this one.
