jacktjl 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2015 I had my personal racquet strung with gut back around 1970. Broke the strings back in about 1972 and have been storing it ever since. I took the strings out and soaked them in water. They became extremely pliable and I was able to separate the gut into smaller sections to tie a few flies. Not as nicely tied and the photography is not as good but they do look pretty good wet. I am going to try them. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
