Messing around with streamers tonight and came up with this little guy...

 

Marabou tail

Peacock Herl body

Brown hen hackle collars

 

I think it looks pretty good but will the trout think so too?

Interesting. Should work at the right time and place eh? Show us a big fish of any sort with that sticking to it's lip and then we'll all say, 'yup' unconditionally.

 

Interesting with the soft hackle spun in two places of the overall fly though.

Sure, it is basically a Wooly Bugger. I would tie some with a bit of flash in the tail also.

Yea it'll catch a few im sure.

 

Some pointers - Try to tighten up the head so there isn't so much space between the bead and hackle. If it were me I would loose the second hackle and add a counter wrapped wire rib to make it a more durable.
