Stevester 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2015 Rather than messing around with bench vices and power drills on beads that are a problem fit, just buy slotted beads. They eliminate most of the issues with hook and bead compatibility. Steve

phg 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2015 I have debated reboring problem beads, but have decided it's just not worth the hassle. I can usually find a hook, a size larger or a size smaller, that the bead will work on. I have also had some beads where the plating closed the hole. I've usually been able to punch these out with a bodkin. At less than $.10 each, they aren't worth a lot of trouble.
