265g tank, shop & office tour

I must say, you probably have the coolest man-cave/office that iv ever seen. Also great work on that tank. Some really nice work you've done on the rock walls. Very impressive.

I don't think I would ever leave that room! I have two weeks until we move into my new house and I will have my own man cave as well. Just in time because I'm picking up my taxidermied pheasant and badger tomorrow

Wow! ... Nicely done, Steve. If you decide to do another video, spend a little more time on the walls and decor. I think you need more wall space, or you can't take any more pictures for the rest of your life! At least, you can't frame any more.

That tank is fantastic. The fish look great in there, too.

Thanks for the tour ... I am both impressed and jealous.

Awesome. The clarity of the video is great. Especially when your filmed the TV and through the tank glass. What are you using to film?

Been working on a way to add a realistic thunderstorm to the big tank with lightning that flashes in sync with thunder. This is the first test run using an MP3 player with storm sound fx ran in a loop wired into a device called an Apollo Jammer which DJ's use for light shows. Also has speakers plugged into the splitter of the Apollo Jammer for full sound to go along with the flashes. First bench test run

Steve ... I've admired everything you've done, getting those tanks of your looking so good. But I have to admit, this is a little odd. I don't think there's any health benefit for the fish, is there?

Of course, here in Central Florida, thunder storms are a daily occurrence through the summer months.

Nothing odd about it It's been done before on numerous high end saltwater setups. It doesn't stay on all the time, just adds a natural realistic touch to the tank for late night viewing. Doesn't affect the fish's health in the very least.

I am not usually a fan of african cichlids but they definitely go well in that tank. That is by far the best man cave I have ever seen!!
