FlaFly 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2015 I like Perkins Pancake House. I like the taste of their coffee. What I really like is that they bring a whole carafe of coffee to the table and leave it. My wife drinks fake (decaf) and I drink real coffee... they bring a whole carafe of each!
Henrik Thomsen (DK) 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2015 Henrik how do you brew your coffee? Normally I brew either with my Mocca brewer on the stove, my filter can (Bodum), manuel dripper or my aeropress, but sometime I do the swedish Boiling Coffe, which in simple terms just is very find grind coffe boiled in water and poured into cups. The stronger the better for me...
mikechell 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2015 When I drank coffee ... and the occasional coffee at Denny's ... I like my coffee "candied" with lots of sugar and lots of creamer.
JSzymczyk 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2015 I just quit drinking coffee a few years back. That's just wrong, Mike. I don't drink coffee because I'm addicted to caffeine, I drink it to make the headaches stop.....

I don't drink coffee because I'm addicted to caffeine, I drink it to make the headaches stop..... LOL on all points. I guess I should restate that ... I quit drinking lots and lots of coffee. When I eat breakfast at a restaurant ... I'll have a cup or two. But I don't make coffee for myself, so I go weeks without any. Joel ... does it also quiet the voices? Or just calm the withdrawal symptoms?
J-Kno 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2015 Back in the mid 80's i would go with my Dad to the gold exchange in L.A. The guy that did a lot of selling there would snap his fingers and 3 Turkish coffees would appear. To this day I remember that and the grounds on the bottom of the little cup. Nothing since has been close to that. 30 years ago now...

petelangevin 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2015 I stopped drinking it years ago when dunkins started killing my stomach, found out from a guy at New England coffee who was roasting for them, that they went to a cheap bean for filler. Flash forward 5 years, the Mrs got a keurig, got refillable pods to be eco friendly and discovered Starbucks French roast. Won't drink anything else. Not really that expensive considering bag costs. We use solid coconut cream in it as I don't use dairy anymore. Very nice. No sugar needed.
Adam Saarinen 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2015 I'm backing Henrik up! We drink a lot of coffee in Finland! I myself drink 3 mugs in the morning at home, each one 0.3L with two t-spoons of nescafe original, while at work i drink juhlamokka from the coffee maker machine. I don't use milk or suger, only black with marlboro menthol. But i try to drink only one mug before taking my float tube out in the arcapelago! Anyone who owns a float tube will know why?:-)

Its a solid made from pureed coconut with the water extracted. Looks just like crisco shortening but tastes a hell of a lot better. If you have a trader joes, its the coconut cream in the brown can. Still has the natural coconut oil in it. Avoid the low fat green can!
