teamtrout 0 Report post Posted January 27, 2015 Has anybody used one of these for carp? I was thinking about tying some, but they appeared to me that they would float. I mean, I can't see any bulk on the shank that wrapping lead would have caused. From my experience... corn sinks, so I'm trying to see how this would work. I guess carp would probably hit it regardless...

mikechell 0 Report post Posted January 27, 2015 If that's tied with open cell foam, Or pieces of sponge, it would absorb water and eventually sink.
Stevester 0 Report post Posted January 27, 2015 I was going to say what Mike said. Open cell foam will absorb water and slowly sink. I would guess there some lead on the hook shank to accelerate the process. Steve
