Stosho 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2015 Greetings from Milwaukee. Beer and cheese are not all that made Milwaukee famous. Wisconsin has incredible diversity when it comes to fishing. I've been out of tying and fishing for the better part of the last 5-10 years as my boys were busy with their events. For some reason this winter I've been inspired again and recreated my tying station. This looks like a great resource to get back at it. Thanks for a great site. mikechell 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2015 Welcome to the site, Stosho. Milwaukee is famous for H-D motorcycles. I've been up there a time or two for the H-D University ... and for the Coast Guard base to teach Honda Marine BF225s. But, I've always been there when bad weather kept me from fishing the shores of Lake Michigan.
ihang10 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2015 Welcome. Not sure the locale, but I've seen some great pics from a salmon run in or near downtown Milwaukee. My wife went to school in Madison and I grew up in Waukegan so we know that curds are supposed to squeak and what a Sheboygan style brat is. Great city you live in. See ya around the campfire...
