Russia for salmon and bows, Thailand for snakehead, Christmas Island for bones and GT, Norway for salmon and char, PEI for blue tuna (yes, on the fly), Rainy river stateside for sturgeon (again on the fly), Baja for roosters, Texas for reds, alpine lakes in Wyoming for golden trout, Tree River for char, Sutton River for sea run brook trout, Northern Saskatchewan for pike, LOTW for musky, New Zealand for trout, and south america for golden dorado. There are a few other's I've forgotten I'm sure...

Troutguy they have the same deal set up on the cumberland. The trout are huge. Albino trout at 10 to 15lbs. These fish will grab a finger.

To fish for arowana In South America and archer fish in Asia : Both of these species will try to jump or shoot a fly out of my favorite place to cast- A tree

Arowana is a big ass fish. Amazon River, thats a close second on my list.

Tough call. It's a toss up between back to Australia and 1st time to the Amazon. As to what and exactly where, well ALL of either of course! If i could only pick one to fish for the rest of my life I'd probably have to say Oz, I could live there easily.

Love the variety of saltwater fish there large and smaller

 

Other bucket list destinations are

Kamchatka

Florida when the Tarpon are on the worms

North Australia mixed fresh and Salt adventure with archery wild Boar and buffalo hunt included

Northern Canada Pike

Peacock Bass-Brazil

Northwest Smallmouth Safari (ID, OR, WA)

Elk River Cutts

Florida Canal Exotics

......

 

 

I have been lucky to have fished Alaska, Zimbabwe, several trips to Argentina, multiple Salt Trips to Mexico but remain hungry for more.

This thread has a touch of potential if guys got together and actually did the footwork to get to their dream destination together to make things cheaper/possible. So if there's a couple guys out there who want to go to AK and catch some giant pike, lemme know.
