sculpinmaster 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2015 I've not really tied much in the last couple of weeks. Concentrating on imitating the early season hatches of large dark olives I have been tying some dark barbour paraduns, cul-de-canon and the generic s.o.s. Crackaig 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2015 The result of a bit of a challenge elsewhere. An Up Side Down, Detached Body, Wally Wing, CdC Mayfly. I think I might just call it Emma for short!!! A fiddly little fly, but the materials are obvious enough. Cheers, C.

vb1971 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2015 Thanks Retro, I am assuming you can get Sally Hansens HAN in Australia..... Clear? Cheers VB
retrocarp 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2015 Sally hansons Hard as Nails Clear ......nylon and retinol any large store like Big W or Kmart....P.s The diamond strength version dries with opaque streaks so I don't use that one. I also apply it with a bodkin ( needle if you prefer) By the way your caddis looks good.

Henrik Thomsen (DK) 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2015 My last fly this month, getting ready for the explosion of sandeels near the Danish shore line. (called Tobis in Danish). This is my second try with this kind of flies with folded EZ-tube. Stabilize them with an extreme thin layer of UV resin.
